About Us

WHO WE ARE ...
''it's all About creativity, passion and compassion''

La Petite Gourmandise began as a small, joyful Facebook page where i shared my love for European and french -style pastries. What started as selling sweet treats to friends and neighbours quickly grew into a community :people who love good food, thoughtful lunchboxes, and making everyday moments special.Today La Petite Gourmandise THE shop is a heart -led upgrade ,a place where baking ,creativity ,family life and compassion meet.

We now offer:

  • The Knaki Essentials kids’compartment lunchboxes -practical,pretty and kid-approved.
  • Baking tools and crafts for home bakers and hobbyists.
  • Online baking classes for anyone who’s curious or passionate about learning and the art of baking.
  • A fun, entertaining baking and cooking blog full of recipes, tips and family-friendly ideas.
  • Practical how -to content showing how i pack school lunches using lunchboxes-Simple,nutritious and playful lunch ideas parents can get inspired from.

But the heart of La Petite Gourmandise is more than food and tools. When my husband was diagnosed with leukemia,i decided to turn our personal fight into a global message:you are not Alone. That’s how ”Let’s Walk Together” was born- a welcoming corner of our shop and community dedicated to supporting anyone touched by cancer:children, adults, spouses, families and caregivers.Through walks, stories, resources and practical solidarity,we show up for each other.

Our promise:

to bring joy to the table,to teach with kindness, and to walk alongside those who need love and support.Whether you’re here for pastries, lunchboxes inspo,a baking class or to join us in solidarity-Welcome.You matter, and together we make every small gesture count.

the Founder

Audrey.K.Knecht

I’m the founder and heart behind La Petite Gourmandise-a proud mom of two energetic boys,a baker by passion, and a woman who believes in turning love into action.Originally from Gabon now living in the United States after marrying my husband from switzerland,I discovered baking as a way to care for my family when we first moved here. What began as a homemade European and French-style pastries shared on a Facebook page grew into a community of fellow food lovers and parents who appreciate thoughtful, joyful moments.

Collierville was where i first took La Petite Gourmandise beyong the kitchen and into my neighborhood. After my second son was born, life paused:my husband was diagnosed with leukemia a month later. That challenge changed everything-it taught me how fragile and precious life is,and how powerful the simple acts of sharing, baking, and standing together can be.Out of that struggle came a clearer purpose:to build something that nourishes bodies, lifts spirits, and supports families facing cancer through our Let’s Walk Together initiative.

Now,stronger than ever,i’m expanding La PetiteGourmandise with curated Knaki Essentials lunchboxes, baking tools, online classes, and a space for connection and solidarity.I’m inviting you to join this journey-to bake with us,and walk beside those who need us most.Together we turn small into meaningful change.
